Gooree is known to have bred and raced some of the toughest racehorses in Australia, having produced “war horse” Desert War, the late Northern Meteor, Crowned Glory and more recently King’s Gambit - to name a few.
Now, we offer our clients the opportunity to agist their horses in our beautiful signature rolling hills at over 400 meters above sea level.
Agistment at Gooree
Along with breeding top quality thoroughbreds Gooree Park Stud now offers first class agistment for thoroughbreds. We cater for individual horses and offer 24/7 professional care. At Gooree, day to day horse management is provided by highly-skilled managers and staff, horses receive a high level of professional care provided by respected veterinarians. Clients are kept up to date with progress reports forwarded to owners and trainers on a regular basis.
At Gooree, your horses will have the benefit and enjoyment of safe, large lush undulating paddocks to stretch out in fertile pastures, shelters in paddocks, stables in smaller yards and comfortable cleaned stables in the barns to rest in whilst receiving first class quality husbandry care.

Pre-Training & Spelling
Gooree provides racehorse spelling, rehabilitation & pre training agistment within a state-of-the-art training facilities with a fully maintained irrigated grass and sand track the size of Randwick Racecourse.
Gooree Park’s spelling and pre-training offers your horses prime paddocks to unwind for a much-needed break; while our resident trainer, Mack Griffith, works alongside our vet and city trainers to get horses fit and ready for their next campaign.
Located just over 3 hours from Sydney Racing Stables, we offer weekly transport to and from the country's top trainers, who utilise these amazing facilities on a regularly.
Breeding Stud
We offer agistment for broodmares (short and long term), weanlings, yearlings, and spellers. We also provide walk-in, foaling down with 24/7 around the clock care, weanling services and sales preparation at very competitive rates.
Our aim is to provide your horse every chance of success by ensuring they receive the best possible care and attention from our highly experienced, horse-loving staff in tranquil surroundings.
